Peer Reviewer Process
All manuscripts submitted to Bahana International Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (BIJMS) undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the published articles.
-
Initial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial evaluation of the submitted manuscript to ensure that it fits the journal’s scope, follows the author guidelines, and meets basic academic standards. -
Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The journal applies a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both the authors and reviewers are concealed to maintain objectivity and fairness. -
Review Evaluation
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on several criteria, including originality, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, significance of findings, and relevance to multidisciplinary studies. -
Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:-

-
Accept with minor revisions
-
Revise and resubmit (major revisions)
-
Reject

Revision and Final Decision
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments. The revised manuscript may be returned to the reviewers for further evaluation before a final decision is made.
The editorial board of BIJMS ensures that the peer-review process is conducted fairly, objectively, and confidentially in order to maintain the integrity and quality of the journal.
